On April 29th, the virtual meeting to discuss the cooperation agreement establishment between Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark (Vietnam) and Leye-Fengshan UNESCO Global Geopark (China) took place at the Meeting Hall of Cao Bang Department of Foreign Affairs.Mr. Doan Trong Hung, Cao Bang Department of Foreigne Affairs and Mr. Dao Quoc Minh, Chief Secretary of the Baise city People's Government, the Chairman of the People's Government Office, Chairman of Bai se city Department of Foreign Affairs chaired the meeting.

The Global Geoparks Network welcomed 8 new members

On April 21th, 2022, the Global Geoparks Network in collaboration with UNESCO Earth Sciences and Geo-Hazard Risk Reduction Section organized a live Welcome digital event for the 8 new UNESCO Global Geoparks.

The Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp participated in a digital meeting on sharing experience with some geoparks in Vietnam

On April 5th, 2022, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp attended an online exchange among Dong Van Karst Plateau UGGp, Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp and Lang Son geopark with the purpose of sharing experience in developing Geopark; exchange issues of the cooperation agreement on joining activities of the Vietnam Geoparks Network.

On March 11th, 2022, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark participated in the online meeting of the Vietnam Geopark Network (VGN) to review the activities of UNESCO Global Geoparks in Vietnam in 2021, and discuss the task implementation in 2022.

Baseline survey of Geo-sites in Bao Lac and Bao Lam districts serving the development of the route connecting Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp and Dong Van kart plateau UGGp

From March 3rd to March 9th, 2022, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark conducted a preliminary field survey of geo-sites which are potential stops on the experience route connecting Non nuoc Cao Bang UGGp and Dong Van Karst Plateau in the districts of Bao Lac and Bao Lam.

Youth representative of Viet Nam Geopark network elected to become vice chairperson of the UNESCO global geoparks youth forum

On December 12th,2021, at the 1st UNESCO Global Geoparks Youth Forum, Le Thu Trang, the youth representative of Vietnam Geopark Network was voted to become the Vice chairperson of the Forum.
