According to the schedule, the Management Board of Non nuoc Cao Bang carried out a survey at a number of places with rich geological, historical, cultural and biodiversity values and stopover places suggested by the People's Committee of Bao Lac and Bao Lam districts, made a preliminary assessment of the places and their potential to become the stops on the 5^th Geopark experience route; At the same time, the Management Board also surveyed and assessed the conditions of traffic infrastructure, possible routes from Non nuoc Cao Bang to Dong Van Karst Plateau (Ha Giang) through Bao Lac, Bao Lam.

The development of the 5^th experience route connecting Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark and Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark (Ha Giang) is one of the key projects in the development of Non nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in 2022, with the objective to realize the Cooperation Agreement between the Management Boards of the two Geoparks on promoting the values of the UGGp model in the development of tourism linkages between Ha Giang and Cao Bang provinces, contributing to promote unique tourism products, improve the efficiency of heritage conservation and promotion, and the livelihoods of the local people.
