As part of the programme, the survey team assessed tourism facilities, visitor reception capacity, and experiential activities at several traditional craft villages along the eastern experience route, "Experience traditional  Culture in a wonderland." The surveyed sites included Phja Thap incense-making village, Dia Tren traditional paper-making village, Pac Rang blacksmith village, Khao indigo-dyeing village (Quang Uyen Commune), and the bamboo weaving village and Lung Ri traditional roof-tile village (Hanh Phuc Commune). The team also met with local households to evaluate their capacity to provide traditional craft experiences, local cuisine, homestay accommodation, and opportunities to introduce and promote local products.

During the survey, the team assessed the condition of transport infrastructure, surrounding landscapes, and connectivity between the craft villages, while identifying appropriate locations for rest stops and scenic check-in points along the proposed cycling route. Discussions were also held with local authorities and community members on sustainable approaches to the management, operation, and development of tourism service points.
The survey provides an important foundation for developing a cycling tour connecting traditional craft villages along the eastern route of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark. The initiative aims to diversify tourism products, encourage longer visitor stays, create sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities, and contribute to the preservation of traditional cultural values.

Based on the survey findings, the Management Board of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark will continue working closely with local authorities and community members to finalize the tour itinerary, improve tourism facilities, enhance service quality, and gradually introduce the new cycling experience to visitors in the near future.
