From June 30 to July 3, 2026, the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark, in coordination with local authorities of communes and wards within the Geopark area, conducted a periodic inspection and assessment of infrastructure facilities, heritage sites, and partner establishments along the Geopark’s experiential tourism routes.
During the program, the inspection team evaluated the system of signboards and directional signs, promotional panels, parking areas, environmental sanitation, landscape conditions, and visitor service facilities at heritage sites and partner establishments across four experiential tourism routes in the areas of Nung Tri Cao, Thuc Phan, Tan Giang wards and the communes of Minh Tam, Nguyen Binh, Tam Kim, Thanh Cong, Tinh Tuc, Hoa An, Ha Quang, Truong Ha, Lung Nam, Tra Linh, Quang Uyen, Be Van Dan, Dam Thuy, Kim Dong, Thach An, Dong Khe, Duc Long, and Phuc Hoa.

At each surveyed location, the team focused on assessing the current status of tourism infrastructure, identifying shortcomings and limitations that need to be addressed, and proposing solutions to improve destination quality in a safe and visitor-friendly manner.
The team also held direct discussions with Geopark partners to assess their compliance with the criteria of the Geopark Partner Network, while collecting feedback and recommendations from organizations regarding their operations and visitor services. These assessments provide a foundation for the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark to continue supporting and working alongside partners to improve service quality and develop tourism products associated with the conservation of geological, cultural, and natural heritage values.

The periodic inspection contributes to a comprehensive assessment of the current conditions of heritage sites and partner facilities across the four experiential tourism routes, while strengthening coordination between the Management Board of Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark and local authorities in the management, conservation, and promotion of heritage values. It is also one of the regular activities aimed at enhancing visitor experiences and effectively implementing UNESCO’s recommendations for the UNESCO Global Geopark.
