Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism holds training workshop on applying AI technology in the workplace

Attending the training course were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Cao Bang DoCST, leaders of the DoCST, representatives of IGB Joint Stock Company; heads of affiliated units and divisions and a large number of public servants, and employees of the tourism sector.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Cao Bang DoCST, emphasized that proactively adopting and applying AI in the workplace is an important step to improve the effectiveness of state management in the field of culture, sports, and tourism. He noted that this will also create advantages in developing applications for heritage management, smart tourism, and sports management, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting local cultural values in the digital era. He requested that affiliated units, based on their assigned functions and duties, actively select and effectively implement AI applications to their assigned tasks.
Cao Bang DoCST and IGB Joint Stock Company signed an MoU on sponsoring the development of the Cao Bang Tour smart tourism application.
During the training workshop, representatives of IGB Joint Stock Company introduced an overview of AI development, modern tools and features widely applied around the world and in Vietnam. The training content focused on utilizing AI in management, administration, data retrieval, document drafting, tourism promotion, cultural heritage preservation, and sports management. Participants had the opportunity to directly experience several AI tools for daily tasks such as drafting documents, developing plans, summarizing texts, and supporting multilingual content translation for tourism promotion, etc.
The training session provided public servants, and employees working for the culture, sports and tourism sector with access to advanced technological knowledge, accelerating the digital transformation process, keeping pace with global development trends, and closely meeting the requirements of citizens and tourists.
On this occasion, the Cao Bang DoCST and IGB Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on sponsoring the development of the Cao Bang Tour smart tourism application. In addition, the Cao Bang Provincial Center for Training, Sports Competition, and Arts and IGB Joint Stock Company signed an MoU on cooperation in applying technology to operate pickleball in Cao Bang Province.
